Mental Health Worker (Orchard Unit/Baltimore/Washington Campus)
The Orchard Unit is a 17-bed unit located on our Baltimore/Washington Campus that serves adult patients ages 18 and older who suffer from one or more psychiatric disorders.
We treat a wide range of psychiatric disorders on this unit, including, but not limited to, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety disorders, and psychosis.
As a Mental Health Worker you will:
Participate in the planning and evaluation of patient needs based on patient behaviors.
Provide direct patient care services in accordance with the treatment plan and under the direction of a professional nurse.
Assist in providing a safe and therapeutic environment according to established policies and procedures.
Requirements:
HS Diploma/GED.
Human Services related degree or past direct care or related experience strongly preferred.
Must be available to work every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday).
All new clinical staff will begin their extended clinical orientation/training immediately following your first day of employment.
AHA CPR required before first day of employment.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
