Experience Level:

years of estimating or outside sales experience in the overhead door, HVAC, electrical/power, general contracting or related construction/installation industries desired.
Proven sales success in vertical markets such as pharmaceuticals/healthcare can also be a good fit for this role.

Since their inception, over 25 years ago, they have successfully executed 200,000 installations across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast while working with leading companies in blue chip industries.
They are looking for an experienced Project Sales Rep to join their team to focus on New Construction and Retrofit projects involving Specialty Commercial/Industrial Overhead & Pedestrian Doors and Loading Dock Equipment.
The successful candidate will have knowledge and understanding of Overhead & Pedestrian Door and Loading Dock Equipment business or related trades, such as Electrical Contracting, Integrated Security Systems, HVAC/Mechanical, General Contracting, Structural Contracting, or other commercial/industrial construction industries.
You will be self-motivated and driven to succeed in the sales profession.
Key
Responsibilities:
Identify customers within the assigned geographic territory that are within the defined customer segments of door and loading dock equipment.
Typical solutions include:
high performance doors, overhead and rolling steel doors, pedestrian doors, loading dock equipment, and related items.
Develop and manage a pipeline of sales opportunities that ensures achievement of assigned annual sales goals.
Perform customer site inspections and attend pre-bid meetings as needed.
Coordinate with the Estimating team to ensure solutions meet customer needs prior to proposal presentation.
Work to ensure customer satisfaction through sales and project delivery processes.
Work with the sales manager to develop and implement account plans.
Job Skills and
Qualifications:
Three
years of territory-based solution sales experience in one of the following markets:
o Overhead/Pedestrian Doors and Loading Dock Equipment o Commercial Construction (Construction Management or General Contracting) o Electrical Contracting o HVAC/Mechanical Contracting o Structural Contracting Understanding of managing a pipeline of multiple projects that are both short and long term.
Ability to articulate company s Value Proposition through identifying internal and external customer needs based on relevant application; with the ability to explain and demonstrate products, solutions, and services to distinguish strengths that meet those identified needs.
Development of account plans for customers at multiple levels of their organization that cover existing, as well as future capital needs.
Strong communicator in both written and verbal formats.
Must have a growth mindset to identify new customers as well as serve existing customers.
Gaining the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity.
Ability to work independently to achieve goals with support of the team as required.
Computer literate with ability to work on common office systems.
Valid driver s license.
