We are looking for an Assistant Manager to Join Our Pack(TM) at TK-9 in Elkridge! REPORTS TO:
General Manager Core
Responsibilities:
Supports Mission, Vision and Values of Destination Pet.
Supervise and assist team of animal care technicians and customer service representatives.
Adjust daily schedule for shift personnel to ensure optimal efficiency.
Train and evaluate employees.
Resolve escalated customer complaints.
Set up evaluations of new dogs.
Maintain a positive work setting.
Serve as the manager onsite when General Manager is not available.
Ensures that bank deposits are completed as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Expertise &
Experience:

years of professional experience working in a veterinary clinic or pet care facility Previous leadership/management experience Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and communication skills Strong leadership qualities and previous management/leadership experience Must be available to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.
Physical:
Must frequently lift 40 pounds.
Must be able to be on feet eight hours per day.
Must be able to stand, walk and climb stairs frequently.
Must be able to handle dogs on leashes.
Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander and excretions.
Job Type:
Full-Time Pay:
$39,000 Quick Apply.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
