We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to be based in our Baltimore office which is located in Elkridge, Maryland.
As a Project Manager with this company, you will be accountable for managing large, self-perform, complex concrete repair and restoration projects in the greater Baltimore / Washington DC region.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for:
Maintaining profit & loss responsibility over multiple projects and making key decisions and recommendations on projects from pre-task planning phase through close out
Preparing contracts and negotiating revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors
Managing multiple projects, superintendents / foremen, subcontractors, technicians at the level required to meet the division or branch goals
Developing budgets, creating schedules, evaluating production rates, forecasting and other project related administration
Maintaining involvement in uncovering sales opportunities with prospective and existing customers in the Baltimore / DC region
Demonstrating dedication to safety and quality control on all projects
Successful candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered for this position:
Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil / Structural Engineering or related field of study
5-10 years of relative experience within commercial construction and / or restoration industry
Previous experience working for a self-perform contractor
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with a contract value of at least $1 million and up
Proven experience managing an aggregate number of projects totaling in the multiple-millions annually
Previous experience managing projects that include structural concrete repair, waterproofing, faade repair, and / or historic restoration
Strong leadership skills to effectively train and mentor others
Proven dedication to safety

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
