We are currently recruiting for a Division Manager to provide leadership and vision to our Building Envelope Division of our Baltimore/Washington Operations Team located in Elkridge, MD. As a Division Manager, you will provide operational leadership to all aspects of the division and make key decisions related to safety, profitability, business development, operations, resource management, staffing needs, growth, teamwork, and culture for the operations. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Providing proactive leadership and direction to maintain the highest level of quality on every project.
Managing the financial success of the division by reviewing the financial status of all projects on a regular basis, assessing long-term profitability, and monitoring the cash flow / collection process.
Negotiating contracts with clients
Preparing and reviewing budgets and evaluating historical production rates against actuals to provide guidance to project teams
Mentoring and managing project teams
Providing leadership in safety, following the companys safety culture, practices and procedures
Candidates who meet the following criteria may be considered for this strategic leadership position with our Baltimore/Washington operations team:

years of construction experience managing a division or managing multiple projects as a project manager with at least 10 of those years managing people
Previous profit and loss responsibility
Demonstrated knowledge of construction contracts, claims management and dispute resolution
Proven success managing, leading and coaching project teams
Previous experience and proven track record working on building envelope projects
Previous experience negotiating contracts directly with clients and maintaining a strong company position in regards to contractual rights and protecting the companys interest, including intellectual property (IP)
Proven ability to provide a vision and path to achieve long-term goals
Demonstrated commitment to safety
Candidates who possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field of study may be given preference
Approximately 30% travel is required with this position.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
