CATERING EVENT PLANNER / SALES ASSISTANT

Responsibilities will include :
developing and designing floor plans and room layouts
working directly with the client to plan all of the details of the event, from final menu selection to outside vendors
Create time lines (both internal and external)
assisting the client with selecting linens, rentals and other d cor elements
Managing events (Please note, this is NOT a Monday - Friday career)
Establishing relationships with outside vendors and venues
If you are interested in the special events industry and are SUPER organized, love people and get really excited by fantastic food and d corthis is the career for you. No experience requiredwilling to train the right person with a can do attitude. Compensation is varied depending on skill level and experience. This is an excellent growth opportunity with LOTS of room for advancement.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
