Billing Representative
A Telecommunications company in Elkridge, MD is currently seeking a Billing Service Representative to join its team. This is a temp to hire opportunity and compensation for this position is $38-42,000 per year depending on experience.
Job Responsibilities
-Compile and maintain billing information.
-Review, edit and input data into the billing system.
-Handle a high volume of bills per month.
-Effectively interact and communicate with customers.
-Review and verify accuracy of billing and supporting documentation as required.
-Research and respond to inquiries regarding billing issues and problems.
-Create new billing formats as needed.
-Create and distribute monthly reports.
-Communicate as necessary with clients/customers regarding delinquent invoices.
-Utilize computer systems manuals and procedures.
-Ensure strict confidentiality at all times.
-Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
-High School Diploma, Bachelor degree preferred.
-Ability to multi-task and prioritize, organize work flow and use time efficiently
-Strong attention to detail
-Exhibit a pleasant and welcoming demeanor both in person and on the telephone
-Ability to perform at high levels in a fast paced, ever-changing work environment and successfully adapt to changing priorities and work demands
