Job Title Electrical Engineer II Job ID(Requisition ID): 3142 Job Summary RF Design Engineer - Responsible for the coordination and technical leadership of electronic hardware strategies and the electrical design and development of customer products. Position based in the Tijuana, Baja California Facility. Essential Functions and Competencies N/A Qualifications / Education / Experience Design and document electronic hardware for customer products, and related electronics, to meet both the customers' requirements and internal manufacturing requirements Provide assistance and interact with Mechanical Design, PCB Design, Functional Test and In-Circuit Test for product, test and tooling development Develop and follow project plan; Gather status and report project status to leadership and the customer Provide sub-project level or full smaller scale project leadership and organization, as required, for multiple concurrent projects, mentoring and training for engineers Deploy processes and systems within the workgroup Develop project proposals and associate cost estimates Work with internal manufacturing support groups to understand the requirements of the production environment Work with customers to understand customer requirements regarding a product design Provide research and development for new design methods and tools under management guidance Participate in identification and development of advanced/new technologies Drive design/development related business discussions on internal customer team(s) Perform portions of and lead Design for Excellence (DFX) efforts; Create necessary documentation Communicate technical challenges and implement solutions where possible and as required Lead or participate in a continuous improvement activity with complete documentation, including a follow up review with the team in a presentation format - 5+ years of experience in RF design and development - Knowledge in the design software FHSS and/ or CST. - Ability to travel to customer sites, including outside the US. - Bilingual in Spanish desire - Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills - Willing to work on site at the Tijuana Mexico plant. - 4 year Engineering or Technical degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience Job Category Design Engineering Job Location Lark (Secure) Schedule Day Pay Type Salary Travel Requirement No Job Type Full-Time Apply Now Send this job to a friend Send this job description to a friend by email. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
