Summary:
This position will be responsible for the design and development of electrical systems and/or components to customer and internal specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality, as well as sustainability.
The engineer will be involved in projects from the concept and detail design through implementation, testing, and selloff to the customer.
The engineer will work in a multi-disciplinary project team, including engineers from other disciplines, as well as marketing and sales staff, manufacturing personnel, technicians, and customer service personnel and will possess the technical knowledge as well as the ability to manage projects and multitask.
Additional attributes, such as team leadership skills and commercial awareness, are required for career progression.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate competency in decision-making, flexibility, planning and organizing, initiative, and interpersonal skills.
Primary Job Duties &
Responsibilities:
Identify customer requirementsDesign electrical systems and productsDevelop design specifications and technical drawingsSpecify components, wire and connector sizing, and interfacesGenerate electrical schematics and drawingsProcess electrical Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs)Create bills of materials (BOMs)Validate schematics and circuit diagramsResearch suitable solutions while estimating costs and scheduleCreate models and/or prototypes of productsWork with others on the design, product management, and production teamsWork with clients and contractorsDesign test plans and conduct testsRecord, analyze, and interpret test dataPropose modifications and retesting products as required for product compliance to specificationsQualify the final product and/or systemAdhere to Quality Management processes and policiesService and maintain equipment as necessaryPrepare product documentation, write reports, and give presentations for design and other engineering reviews and meetingsAbility to resolve process problems and provide recommendations to improve processesMonitor products in use to improve on future designWork with the National Electrical Code to ensure safety and complianceJob
Qualifications:
Applicants must be either a US citizen, US national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the US Departments of State or CommerceBSEE or equivalent relevant work experienceMinimum of 5 years of experience in electrical/electronic design engineeringStrong electrical experience in AC/DC (alternating current/direct current)Experience in electro/mechanical system designExperience with soldering, crimping, MIL (military) specification connectors and harness designExperience with Networking systems including wireless, ethernet, and serial communicationsExperience with generators, chargers, and battery systemsProficiency with Microsoft Office to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ProjectExperience with general office software tools; ability to utilize the Internet for research and resource gathering; ability to manage communications and calendars through emailExcellent communications skillsPreferred
Qualifications:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
